More About CVHVAP

CVHVAP invites individuals and all types of service providers to work in collaboration to develop innovative, comprehensive services that will allow veterans in need to live better and to support themselves.

Today, CVHVAP remains steadfast to its original goal of advocating for the elimination of homelessness among veterans.
The Central Valley Homeless Veterans Assistance Program works in partnership with many other local programs to promote veteran support in our area. The Board of Directors is made up of veteran and non-veteran volunteers from local agencies and programs as well as citizens at large.

These volunteers participate in many veteran acitivites in our community including supporting the local veterans parade, assisting with the annual veterans Stand Down event, setting up informational meetings on veteran benefits and worked to bring the veteran's health clinic to our area.

If you are interested in joining the Board of Directors, contact us for an application.
