Central Valley Homeless Veterans Assistance Program

More About CVHVAP

Help Us Help Vets
CVHVAP invites individuals and all types of service providers to work in collaboration to develop innovative, comprehensive services that will allow veterans-in-need to live better and to support themselves.

Today, CVHVAP remains steadfast to its original goal of advocating for the elimination of homelessness among veterans.

Veterans Memorial Maintenance

The local Veterans Memorial Maintenance Committee is supported by and overseen by
the Yuba-Sutter Standown Committee. It is the committee's responsibility to make sure the Veterans Memorial sites in both Yuba City and Marysville are properly cleaned and maintained, on behalf of our community, out of respect for the veterans and to provide a welcoming place for everyone to come to remember and honor them.
Sutter County Memorial
The Central Valley Homeless Veterans Assistance Program works in partnership with many other local programs to promote veteran support in our area. The Board of Directors is made up of veteran and non-veteran volunteers from local agencies and programs as well as citizens at large.

These volunteers participate in many veteran acitivites in our community including supporting the local veterans parade, assisting with the annual veterans Stand Down event, setting up informational meetings on veteran benefits and worked to bring the veteran's health clinic to our area.

If you are interested in joining the Board of Directors, contact us for an application.
